Tyre DOT codes

On the tyre sidewall, there is something called a ‘DOT code’. The DOT code is four numbers that indicate the week and the year that the tyre was manufactured.
If you have a tyre five years after it was manufactured it is no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty in case of defects.
